Fox News: One Step Away From The "Got Your Nose" Game

Listen, I’m not going to get on Fox News for being bias or anything like that. That’s too easy. Tomorrow night, they are premiering their new satire show The 1/2 Hour News Hour. They’re trying to get people to laugh at liberals, when in fact it just makes us laugh even more at conservatives.
This doesn’t bother me as a liberal. This bothers me as someone who writes comedy and works hard at it.
Honestly, this feels like grandpa humor. These jokes are one step away from the “Got Your Nose” game. And at least with that you’re getting something out of it. A nose.
It doesn’t matter what political persuasion you are, comedy is comedy. Funny is funny. And this isn’t funny. It’s painfully uninspired and unimaginitive. It’s like when you zing someone really good and all they can say in return is, “Yeah? Well… you’re... stupid.”
God, Fox News, could you possibly embarrass yourself any more? You’re like the nerdy kid in high school who one day shows up wearing a leather jacket and sunglasses and slicks his hair back and keeps up the act no matter how much everyone just rips the hell out of him.
Tomorrow you’ll probably show up to school with a giant boombox and some gold chains and your hair skyward like Kid from Kid ‘n Play. How effing clueless can you get?
If there’s any laughing, Fox News, it’s going to be at you, not with you. Dooooooouche baaaaaaaaaaaags.

Say what you want about Fox being biased. I myslef love watching Hannity and Colmes Bill O’rielly, and all the other jokes. It’s really entertaining to see soul sucking people on television.
